I dont normally get a T-shirt but I do however get small memento’s eg; postcards, keychains, Calender’s etc etc. I’m always looking for something that stands out and tells a story—maybe a locally designed graphic or a vintage band t-shirt. I quite like national team football shirts which I wear down the Marco Luciano Swing 2023 shirt besides I will buy this gym. Also Tee shirts or polo shirts with national flags as logos. However my current favourite is a polo shirt from Easter Island which has the name misspelled as ‘Eater Island’ We are Americans, but we were living in Munich, Germany during the time that the Berlin Wall came down in November of 1989. Our first son was 14-months-old at the time. About a week after the Wall officially came down (well, it was still standing but now obsolete), we drove up to Berlin to visit some friends for the weekend. When we reached Berlin, the excitement in the air was palpable. As soon as you opened your window or walked outside, you could hear the “chink-chink-chink” of people all over the city, tapping at the wall to get a piece of it for posterity.

So the Marco Luciano Swing 2023 shirt besides I will buy this morning after we arrived, of course we too, slung our hammers and chisels, paint, markers, and cameras over our shoulders and headed over across the street to document our moment in this unprecedented event. It was definitely a memorable day…so strange to see people picnicking, sitting around, and strolling freely, in and out of the diminishing remains of a once ominous wall, where many were shot trying to escape it. The Wall guards who had always been trained to shoot to kill, were instead, now smiling and shaking hands with us through large holes in the Wall. Weird. We had been there several times over the years and had become accustom to the tense, serious atmosphere along the forbidden zone with its armed guards looming up in the towers.
